The revival of the cultic ethno-rock band back from the eighties-nineties is a real miracle. Though one of the founders Jorgos left the band, last spring Cziránku Sándor (guitar), the bandleader Herpai Sándor (drums) and Zsoldos Tamás (bass guitar) with the vocalist-guitarist Both Miklós and Barcza Gergely on reeds revived the Barbaro. Folk muisc from the Balcans and hard rock, a crystal-pure voice and cathartic solos - Barbaro hasn’t lost any of its freshness and strength.
