Music has always been a determinative thing for Barbara Stahl since her childhood. Her affection for music started with the 80-90’s soul divas like Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston and Sade. Their personal charismas, vocal abilities and emotional songs made a huge impact on her.

She played the violin for years then she learned to play the guitar by herself but eventually she chose singing as a profession.

In 2012 she started to sing in an acoustic cover duo with her guitarist friend, Gabor Havai and they perform at the most popular places in Budapest by now. The success of their gigs lead her to start creating her own musical project.

Her songs are calm yet energetic, they are the mixtures of electronics, ambient and alternative r&b. The harmony of the pulsating emotions and cool beats give them a unique sensual sound. Her main ispirations are Banks, Angel Haze, Abra and Sevdaliza.

Her first album titled 9, was released in 2016 by Mamazone Records, on which she works together with a talented Arzsang Aron Lotfi.
