1724 (H/A/PL)

1724 is a trio of musicians wirh different musical backgrounds. The members came from various genres of reggae, jazz, punk, avant-garde jazz, psychedelic and free improvisation. Les Tomek's main band is 100nka in Poland, Luca Kézdy is known from Santa Diver, Emil Gross plays the drums in bands of different styles from reggae to avant-garde. The Hungarian-Polish-Austrian trio tries to continue the avant-garde traditions of Central Europe, with broadly-fledged electronica. The focus of their music is improvisation, fresh, wild and brave at the same time. Occasionally they fly to underground-like, psychedelic heights, their music refers to Hungarian and Polish folk music sometimes, which can suddenly turn into African schemas, or even crunchy, gruesome rhythms.
