Isu alias István Kántor received his first Jacko casette when he was eight. This way Bad was his first experience with black, electronic music. From this time his pocketmoney was spended on the increasing of his casette collection. In elementary school he organised tiny parties, where he played early industrial, techno, EBM and Depeche Mode tracks. At secondary school he met Kalt and Dexter collegues, with them he right away became a vinyljunkie. During this time they were cruising around the electronic parties of Budapest’s night. In his years of civilian service from 1998 he had been working at Tilos Radio as a technician for 3 years. After 6 months of the service he started to play at Tilos Radio parties, and Tizso offered him an hour in the Radio’s broadcast, weekly on Sunday dawns. For now he has his own 3 hours show at the radio every Saturday night to Sunday morning. Then he started to work for I&I recordstore where he took care of, moved, booked and sold the vinyls until the store closed down. Since then he continues this activity, for now he runs Akt records with a friend Arnold by themselves, which has became a meeting point for minimalists in the town. He was the first to run Tilos’s club Saigon then as the most active member of the group minimalheadz he took possession of Club Desperados for ELECTRO music. From 2000 to 2005 minimalheadz crew organised parties with among others Dj Assault, Godfather, Matthew Herbert, Brian Aneurysm, Mr De, AJ McGhee and so on. The biggest project was Labyrinth under the Buda Castle which has became an intercontinental party area realized by Tégla and him. Later on in 2005 he found common thoughts about minimal music with Crimson and Chrom so they started a club series, namely Lick the Click. For the events several fine minimal artists were invited, like Butane, Matthias Tanzmann, Jeff Samuel, Someone Else etc.
The intensity of his love to music is shown every time in his sets, and maybe in the future it will appear in an other way.
