Once a Ukranian cargo-carrier ship that went under complete reconstruction has reborn as the A38 Ship, a cultural institution and events center. Its interesting, well-equipped spaces provide an outstanding opportunity for company programs, social evenings or friendly gatherings. 

Besides providing this unique „building” for Hungarian circumstances the event-organising team of the A38 assumes all-round event-organisation. Teamed up with the organisers of the cultural programs, the reastaurant, and the ship-sustainers they provide a reasonable, creative and high-standard service in the preparation and transaction of different company or private events. The rastaurant’s well-equipped kitchen provides a catering service that can meet up with all requsts.

The ship with its exciting architecture and environment can be an amazing place for shooting films, televison programs or tv adverts. The A38 Ship and its event-organizers provide all-round help in organising first of all conferences, expert lectures, courses, press-conferences,  product promotion events,  weddings, birthday parties, private events, concerts, fashion shows, art performances, standing receptions and gala dinners with complete catering and organisation.

The spaces of the A38 Ship

On the A38 Ship there are six separate nice and decorative hosting spaces on your disposal. Their technical facilities will meet all your requirements. The spaces can be both connected and well-separated, due to their size they can host events with different number of guests.

Panorama Restaurant

(200 m2 + 50 m2 terrace)
Capacity: 120 persons seated at tables, 180 seated in chair-rows, or 200 at standing receptions.
The restaurant’s capabilities are ideal for press-conferences, product promotion events, courses, gala festivities, partner meetings and other company events,  calm, intimate business lunches, buffet services, banquets.
Location: on deck level, approached from the main entrance.
Its terrace overlooks the Pest side, entrance from the restaurant.

Concert Hall with Bar

(300m2, size of the stage: 72 or 48m2)
Capacity: 280 persons seated in rows, 600 standing.
The hall’s capabilities and facilities make it an ideal place for conferences, education courses, production promotion events, press-conferences during daytime. 
Technical facilities:
First-class audio-visual technology (4 digital cameras with mix-pult) and also studio capability for mastering and post-production works for sound and video-recordings. All events can be both recorded and transmitted live onto any other location on the ship.
Location: in the middle of the ship’s hold.
Its floor-level is one meter under the river’s water-level.

Engine Bar

(125m2)
Capacity: 30 persons seated, 60 at standing receptions
Can be opened for the audience, but can also be completely separated. A space that has kept the original atmosphere of the ship. Ideal for business meetings and closed meetings for small groups.
Location: In the ship’s hold at its poop side, behind the concert hall.

Bowsbar

(70m2)
Capacity: 30 persons seated, 50 at standing receptions
Operates as a cocktail-bar and Internet-café (in the ship’s hold).
We recommend it as a complemetary space for the events held at the Concert Hall.

Bowsterrace with Cocktail-bar

(150m2)
Capacity: 60 persons seated, 150 at standing receptions
Complete panorma of the city. Can be separated on request for closed events. Ideal for birthday parties, friendly gatherings from spring till autumn.
Location: on the stern of the deck on the same level with the restaurant. Approached from the main entrance, permeable towards the reastaurant, the stairs of the Roof-terrace lead from here.

Roof-terrace

(210m2)
Capacity: 150 persons seated, 260 at standing receptions.
From spring till autumn our bar serves a wide choice of drinks on the terrace that mainly features music programs. Recommended for imposing demonstrations, greater gatherings, gala parties and festivities, buffet receptions.
Location: above the restaurant, approached from the Bowsterrace.
